ITINERARY HA GIANG LOOP 2 DAYS
Day 0: Bus from Hanoi to Ha Giang - Free 1 night hostel in Ha Giang
- Option 1: Morning bus at 9am or 11am or 1pm or 4pm
- Option 2: Night bus at 20:00pm . Pick up from Hostel from 19:30pm to 20:00pm
It takes 6,5 hours
DAY 1: HA GIANG – QUAN BA – YEN MINH – DONG VAN
(High light of the day: Bac Sum pass, Heaven Gate, H’mong King Palace, Thien Huong village)

7:30 a.m-8:00 a.m: Having breakfast, getting information about the itinerary and be ready to hit the road

The road leads you to Bac Sum pass, you will start to experience one of the most challenging part of the loop with loads of hairpin curves. Having some coffee at the Heaven Gate, where you can see the surrounding area. After lunch in Tam Son town, while following the QL4C road, you will also stop at coffee shops with stunning view which is contains layers and layers of mountain. Visiting the H’mong King Palace to take some more picture and also to learn more about the local people, their life and their culture. It will be unacceptable on a day with beautiful weather if we miss the Thien Huong village where you can clearly see the border between Viet Nam and China and also the fence along the border.

Staying in Dong Van district, having a cozy dinner together with corn wine as a welcome drink which is also known as the “Happy water”
DAY 2: DONG VAN – MA PI LENG – MAU DUE – HA GIANG
(High light of the day: Ma Pi Leng pass, , Tu San alley)
From Dong Van district, you will drive through the Ma Pi Leng pass-one of the most beautiful passes in Viet Nam. You will also take a boat trip along the Nho Que river which starts from China and see how breathtaking the Tu San Alley is. If you are doing the loop in the beginning of 2024, you will know how characters in Mad Max feel like because the second you leave Meo Vac District is also the second you start to experience one of the most dusty road you have ever seen in your life J. Having lunch in Mau Due town then head back to Ha Giang after and extremely long and dusty day but also bring home tons of different beautiful pictures with one of the most fantastic experiences you have ever had in Viet Nam. The loop will end at 5pm and the sleeper bus will return to Hanoi at 7pm.
